  I'm fairly new to New Milton & this pub is my local. I'd heard some dodgy reports but have to say that I've been really pleased with the food & service I've received here. It's also nice that the team remembers your face and the food is very good value for money!

  I had the good fortune to book myself and my family into the Walkford for Christmas Day Dinner. I’d left it very late to book somewhere and I was giving up hope of finding anywhere. Luckily the Walkford had decided to put on an extra sitting and I managed to book the eight of us in. I’d never been there before so I was a little apprehensive as to what we would find. It turned out to be absolutely fantastic. The pub was lovely and the tables were not crammed in giving us plenty of room. All of the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The Christmas Dinner itself was excellent and we couldn’t fault it in any way whatsoever. The service was prompt and friendly in every way. We will certainly be returning to the Walkford in the future. A big thank you to everyone at the Walkford who made our Christmas Day a memorable one.
